We believe that everyone can make a difference and no matter where you are on the journey, there is a place for you to serve. Serving others can be a life changing experience that impacts others by making them feel valued and helps you grow in your relationship with Jesus.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Sundays | 9am & 11am

Create warm and welcoming environments so people will be encouraged to take their next step toward following Jesus. 
  • Parking Team - Assist with traffic flow on Sunday mornings & other events when needed
  • Transportation Team - Assist with golf cart transportation in the parking lot
  • Welcome Team - First touch point for first time guests. Assist with parking and accompanying them to campus to get them to the right place
  • Greeting Team - Greet guests and regulars at the doors and as they make their way on campus
  • Coffee Bar Team - Our in house baristas! Make and serve hot and cold lattes in our MPB
  • Host Team - Assist with auditorium and theater seating on Sunday mornings
  • Hospitality Team - Maintain the side coffee carts with drip coffee & spa water
  • Merchandise Team - Occasional church merch, bibles, and Christ-centered books
  • Call Team - Contact our new guests who submit a Connection Card
  • Medical Team - On call during Sunday services & events in case of emergency
TRUEKIDZ
Sundays | 9am & 11 am

Create fun and safe environments for preschool and elementary kids to learn about Jesus on their level! 

BabyWorks (6 weeks - 3 years old)
  • First Impressions Volunteer - Greet each family in a friendly manner and check-in the children.
  • BabyWorks Volunteer - play with and be attentive to the children, watch the Bible story and complete the provided craft (for the older rooms), change diapers and take kids to the restroom (adult females only) as necessary, and help clean the room after service
KidsWorks (3K - 5K)
  • First Impressions Volunteer - Greet each family in a friendly manner and check-in the children.
  • Small Group Leader - Guide the Bible lesson by reading through the lesson, asking discussion questions, and ensuring they understand the bottom line.  Engage in free play and/or help with a smooth checkout process, then help with clean up after service.
  • Production Volunteer - Be a part of creating a warm large-group environment to teach the children the Bible through worship, skits, and games!
    • On stage actor 
    • Behind the scenes (lights, sound, etc) 
Warehouse & Underground (1st grade - 5th grade)
  • First Impressions Volunteer - Greet each family in a friendly manner and check-in the children.
  • Small Group Leader - Stay with your small group during production time, build personal connections, and guide the Bible lesson by reading through the lesson, engaging them in the activities, and talking through the discussion questions. After service, engage in free play and help with a smooth checkout process, then ensure everything is neat and tidy after service.
  • Production Volunteer - Be a part of creating a warm large-group environment to teach the children the Bible through worship, skits, and games!
    • On stage actor 
    • Behind the scenes (lights, sound, etc) 
Superkidz Volunteer (in KidWorks, Warehouse, or Underground) 
  • Be a buddy to a child with special needs and help them to feel comfortable with minimal distractions to other children. Specifics are determined on a case-by-case basis.

TRUE STUDENTS
TrueStudents Middle School   Sunday | 5:00 pm
TrueStudents High School   Wednesday | 7:00pm

TrueStudents is the student ministry of TrueNorth Church, created to be a place where students 6th-12th grade can belong and become more like Jesus. Our Vision is for all high school and middle school students to know the truth, experience grace, and live in the love of Jesus.
  • Small Group Leader - Each small group leader is key in shaping the spiritual and social bonds that connect middle and high school students. Beyond Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights (through events, group outings, and frequent communication), small group leaders and students form an intimate community where trust is central
  • The First Impressions Team - has a unique opportunity to be the first face a student meets at True Students, you have the opportunity to make them feel welcome and help them find their place. No student should walk alone, they will feel like they belong if they can find their place. First Impressions volunteers help them gain confidence that they are welcome here and that they belong.
  • Hospitality Team - Has the opportunity to serve dinner, snacks, and drinks to the students to make sure no kid goes hungry throughout the night
PRODUCTION
Sundays for Both Services
Sunday Nights for TrueStudents Middle School | 5pm
Tuesday Nights for True Young Adults | 7pm
Wednesday Nights for TrueStudents High School | 7pm

The Production Team exists to help create an environment where people can encounter Jesus without distraction. Whether you're operating a camera, running lights, serving backstage, or managing computers, every role plays a part in leading people into a passionate relationship with Jesus. No matter your experience level, there's a place for you to use your gifts, grow in community, and make an eternal impact.
CAMPUS SUPPORT
Volunteers are requested on an as-needed basis, primarily during the week, Mon-Fri, 9am-4pm, with occasional Saturday and Sunday opportunities as needed.

Support TNC behind-the-scenes in ways that may not be seen, but would be missed if they didn’t exist! You’ll work with our maintenance team to assist with:

GROUP LEADER
Small Groups at TrueNorth Church help make a big church feel more personal. 
Group leaders are volunteers who provide a place for people to talk about life, build friendships, and grow their faith. 
You don’t have to be perfect to lead a group or a Bible scholar to be used by God. Group leaders simply create space where people can experience community and be real. Leaders get a front-row seat to the faith journeys of others. And they discover that their own faith grows along the way.
TrueNorth Church staff provides everything you need to lead well, including trainings throughout the year, weekly study guides, and ideas for socials.
