MEET THE ELDERS!

Dean Ochiltree
Elder since 2004
Dean is married to Pam and they have two children - Evan and Taylor. He said, "I have so many favorite things but I'd have to say that my favorite is our true love of people, all people, regardless of race, socio-economic status, lifestyle, etc.. has never changed since the foundation of the church. It's not just a church slogan written on a page or posted on a sign in a hallway. Its a value that is unwavering through all circumstances and all seasons. It never changes just as God's love for us never changes. When we love like Christ it changes the lives of people, not because of us, but because of His spirit working in and through us. Love is, and Love does. It makes all the difference..."

TJ Barton
Elder since 2008
TJ is married to Christy and they have two children - Marshall and Andrew.
He said, "As cliche as it may sound, one of my favorite things about TNC is something we’ve said since day one….”Come As You Are”. This isn’t just about what your wearing ….it means come with all your hurts, burdens, worries, addictions etc. Our hope is that TNC is always a place for ALL people. I couldn’t be more proud!"

JON DAWKINS
Elder since 2021
Jon is married to Rachel and they have three children - Ashlyn, Kaitlyn and Ethan. He said, "My favorite thing about True North Church is Our Mission: To lead people into a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ. That statement gets me fired up every time I think about it! When I think about our mission, the next thing that comes to my mind are the faces of all the people in our church who are joyfully carrying out that mission each and every day. I’m so grateful that my family and I get to be a part of this amazing group of Christ-followers!"
