What is Best Night Ever?

We are so excited to let you know that we are hosting Best Night Ever again this year!

Best Night Ever is our chance to show God’s love to the local special needs community in a big way. This year, Best Night Ever is going to be completely different than anything we've done before! This year we're hosting a trunk-or-treat & more for our guests. We are excited to get to love on our guests in a new way as we experience a not-too-spooky good time with trunk-or-treating, crafts, games, dancing, and more!

We encourage EVERYONE (guests, caregivers, and volunteers) to wear a not-too-spooky costume if they are comfortable doing so. Otherwise, this will be a casual event.

Best Night Ever is created for people with special needs ages 14+.

Event Information for Parents & Caregivers of Guests to Review BEFORE You Register: 
  • This year's Best Night Ever will be family-style! We’re encouraging our families to serve together, and we’re keeping guests with their parents/caregivers all night. This means we will not be pairing guests with a Buddy and will need you to accompany your guest at all times throughout the evening.
  • We’re treating this more like a drop-in, so we will not be serving food. We will, however, provide light snacks.
  • Even though we are hosting a trunk-or-treat, we are keeping our guest age requirement of 14 years or older.
Registration Information for Parents & Caregivers of Guests: 
  • Please give us a phone number and email that are checked frequently, as we will use them to communicate reminders and other important info to you.
  • You will need to fill out one form per guest. If you are registering multiple guests, please click "Submit another response" on the confirmation page.
  • We will send event details including arrival procedures and more the week leading up to Best Night Ever.

Trunk-or-Treat Spot Information

  • Decorated Spaces: You and your family/friends/small group are invited to decorate a vehicle or set up a tent in a designated parking space (18 ft long by 8 ft 8 in wide). Bring your creativity to life with vibrant themes that are light-hearted and fun—think favorite movies, friendly characters, or simple games!
  • Candy & More: Each participant (parking space) is encouraged to supply an assortment of candy, toys, and stickers. Many of our guests may have specific needs, so be sure to have a variety of options. We are anticipating 200 guests.
  • Setup Time: Arrive between 2-5pm to set up your space and get ready for the festivities!
  • Friendly Competition: Our event will feature a decorating contest, with judges awarding prizes for the best decorated trunks and tents. Categories include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, so bring your A-game!
  • Activities & Games: In addition to basic trunk-or-treating, feel free to include a quick and simple game or activity to keep the fun going.
  • Not-Too-Spooky Vibe: We want everyone to enjoy themselves, so please keep decorations and activities friendly and fun, avoiding anything too spooky or scary.
