Operation Christmas Child
How You Can Participate
Now more than ever children around the world need to have hope. They need to learn that hope that will last no matter what is going on around them only comes from knowing that Jesus loves them. And shoeboxes brimming with gifts that reflect His lavish love are one important tool He will use again this year to fill their hearts with that hope.
You can reach children with this good news when you pack a shoebox. You can view the list of approved items HERE.
Please prayerfully consider the role you can play in spreading great joy even to kids who live at the ends of the earth.

About the Ministry
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations. Since 1993, more than 198 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.
The Greatest Journey is a 12-lesson discipleship course designed for Operation Christmas Child shoebox recipients. Children who participate in the program learn how to follow Christ and share Him with others. As they do, entire families and communities are transformed by the power of the Gospel, and churches are started. Through shoeboxes and The Greatest Journey, each shoebox that you pack can change up to 10 lives!
