We’re excited to give our TrueNorth family the opportunity to help bring some serious joy to local families through our Christmas in July event! While we may be in the middle of summer, we’re already gearing up for our big annual Christmas Bash at La Casa de Esperanza Community Center, and support from our congregation could make a huge difference.

Here’s how it works: Each December, we transform our center into a festive space where parents can come and buy brand-new toys and gifts at very reduced prices—everything is under $10! These are items that originally range from $5 to $50, and we do our best to include gifts for every age group, from babies to teens and young adults.

While the parents shop, the kids get to hang out, do crafts, enjoy holiday games, sip hot chocolate, and snack on fun treats. It’s a super joyful, low-pressure way for families to experience the holiday season and provide gifts for their kids—something many wouldn’t be able to do otherwise.

This is where TrueNorth can play a powerful role. We’re asking for help by collecting new, unwrapped toys or gift items that could be used for the Christmas Bash. Just one donation per person can go a long way in helping us stock the shelves for our toy market this year.
