Outreach

WE BELIEVE EVERYONE
CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

There are many opportunities for you to show the love of Jesus to people all across our city, our nation, and our world!

Make sure to stay connected with us on our Outreach page on Facebook for updates!

Guatemala

TrueNorth Church has partnered with El Camino Church, in the city of San Cristobal, and Mision El Faro, on the Atlantic coastline, to help spread God’s love and care for the needs of those throughout the country of Guatemala. Trips focus on supporting local missionaries and their ongoing ministries, which include providing free medical and dental services, building and repairing facilities, installing water filtration systems and smokeless stoves, or simply offering a helping hand. Medical and construction experience are incredibly helpful, but all that is required is a passport and a heart to serve.

If you want to make an impact in Guatemala, email outreach@truenorthchurch.com.

Middle East

TrueNorth Church has partnered with a local school to help spread God’s love and care for the needs of the students and teachers at the school.  The trips focus on offering a basketball sports camp, as well as an English Camp for students.  We have the opportunity to build relationships with the students, teachers and their families.   No skills are needed, but a passport and heart to serve are required.

If you want to make an impact in the Middle East, email outreach@truenorthchurch.com.

English as a Second Language

English as a Second Language instructors teach English to adults from foreign countries so they can function more fully in the United States, and intentionally demonstrate and share the love of Jesus Christ. No teaching experience is needed, all necessary training is provided. Non-teaching positions are available (greeting, set up, playing games, building relationships, etc). Requirements: Love Jesus. Speak, read and write English fluently.

La Casa de Esperanza at Gentry Mobile Home Park in North Augusta

Homework Center on Monday and Wednesdays from 4-5 PM. Kids from preschool through 7th grade from the Gentry community come with homework, projects, studying assignments, or just to read with an adult. We have the opportunity for you to assist the children in this ministry. Children are paired 1 on 1 with an adult.

Breakfast Club is held on Saturdays from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Children from the community are served breakfast and participate in a fun activity. Bring your family to eat breakfast and participate in the activity with the kids. This is a great opportunity to serve together!
