The words we say to ourselves and about ourselves can affect our actions and our beliefs. Our thoughts have consequences. We have to be careful to protect our heart from what is in our mind if our thoughts do not line up with what God says about us.
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians 4:8
