Due to health concerns related to COVID-19, Element Students will not meet on Wednesdays until further notice.

Stay connected to @elementtnc on Instagram and Facebook for information about online gatherings.

Family Groups

Family Groups are small groups of students that meet with their leader once a week for prayer, discipleship, and building relationships. For our middle schoolers, groups are on Wednesday night following our Element service. High schoolers are still encouraged to come to our Element service Wednesdays at 7pm and their groups meet throughout the CSRA different days and times during the week (see below for full listings).

Our Mission is to lead students into a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ.

Our Vision is for all high school and middle school students to know the truth, experience the grace and live in the love of Jesus.

Our Five Truths

  • We are Loved

John 3:16 Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life.

  • No One Stands Alone

Romans 12:4-5 Each one of us has one body, and that body has many parts. These parts don’t all do the same thing. In the same way, we are many people, but in Christ we are all one body. We are the parts of that body, and each part belongs to all the others.

  • God is For Us

Romans 8:31 So what should we say about this? If God is for us, no one can stand against us. And God is with us.

  • Our Mess is our Message

Romans 8:28 We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love him. These are the people God chose, because that was his plan.

  • We Can Follow Jesus

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to his followers, “If any of you want to be my follower, you must stop thinking about yourself and what you want. You must be willing to carry the cross that is given to you for following me.

  • Do volunteers have a background check?

Yes, every leader at Element has a background clearance check that we regularly update.

  • What can my student expect to happen at Element?

    • Students are encouraged to arrive at Element 30 minutes before service starts.
    • We will begin with high energy worship music.
    • We have a game that is sure to be funny and engaging for every grade level.
    • All students finish the night in family groups. Family groups are 10-16 students with 2 adult leaders. These groups are how we ensure every student has a place to belong and can become more like Jesus.

  • Do I need to be a Christian to attend Element?

Every student is welcome at Element. Element is designed for Christians, but it’s always open to a student who needs love, hope and faith.

  • Can I attend Element with my child?

Parents are allowed to walk their child into Element and get a guest pass for the night to sit in a parent-only seating area during the service. Parents are not allowed in the student areas or family groups. Only background checked volunteers are in those areas with students.

  • Do I need to register my student for Element?

No. Your student can go to Element with a friend or you can drop them off on your own any Wednesday night. Our volunteer team will help your student check in their first time.

  • Will students need money at Element?

Element games, groups and services are all free for students. We have food and drinks available in our snack shack for purchase. All proceeds go toward student scholarships.
    • Chick-fil-a Sandwich $3.50
    • Slice of Pizza $1.50
    • Soda $.75
    • Candy Bar $1.00
    • Students are also able to buy Element shirts, stickers, journals and more

We invite all students to Element in our hope to offer them a life changing choice to know Jesus. To protect the students and culture of Element we do have a list of behaviors and items that are not permitted at Element.

  • Behaviors not permitted

    • No fighting
    • No bullying
    • No cursing
    • No disrupting services or groups
    • No being in areas marked off limits
    • No leaving early without a parent’s permission

  • Items not permitted

    • Weapons
    • Tobacco
    • Vapes
    • Jules
    • Drugs
    • Alcohol
    • Graphic Clothing

  • Element Suspension Policy

We have three expectations for students who attend Element:

    1. Respect God
    2. Respect Leaders
    3. Respect Students

If a student behaves outside of these standards they will receive a G6 write up and we will contact the parents the next day. If a student receives a third write up they will be suspended from Element until a meeting with the parents and student can be set to work toward a solution to the issues.
