Night to Shine
Sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation
at TrueNorth Church
The foundation’s vision is to provide an unforgettable prom night experience centered on God’s love for people with special needs, ages 14 and older.
Night to Shine is:
- A worldwide movement.
- Changing Valentine’s Day weekend from simply a celebration of love, to a celebration of God’s love for people with special needs.
- A celebration of the value of life.
- A night when all guests are kings and queens of the prom.
Night to Shine provides a red carpet entrance complete with a friendly welcome from paparazzi, on-site limousine rides, hair and makeup stations, shoe shining areas, and, of course, a dance floor.
Each guest receives a crown or tiara because they are all kings and queens.
Night to Shine will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 from 6-9pm at TrueNorth Church (1060 W. Martintown Rd, North Augusta, SC 29841)
Our Guest List is full at this time. You may register on the link below for our Wait List. If space opens up, we will contact you by Wednesday, February 7 at noon and let you know you can attend. If you do not hear from us, no spaces have opened up.
Red Carpet Team
Our guests will be treated like kings and queens at Night to Shine. The goal of the Red Carpet Team is to create a hype environment, true to award show ceremonies, as our guests walk the Red Carpet. Cheer, encourage, smile, and respectfully interact with our guests. Remember that we are providing an unforgettable prom night experience
centered on God’s love for people with special needs.
Night to Shine will run from 6-9pm. As a part of the Red Carpet Team, you may come for all or any length of time that you wish. We ask that you would please park in the grass lot to the left of the church. In the interest of maintaining a formal atmosphere to keep this event special, we do ask that you would dress in business casual at the minimum. We do know that it will be cold out, so dress to stay warm.
Per the Tim Tebow Foundation, all volunteers are required to have consented to a background check and attended training. The Red Carpet Team does not fall under these requirements, and therefore will not have access to any of the buildings.
What to Expect as a Volunteer
Night to Shine will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 6-9:30. Volunteers should expect to be at the event from 5-10pm. Per the Tim Tebow Foundation, all volunteers are required to attend one of two trainings (Saturday, January 20 or Monday, January 22) and submit to a background check. The minimum age to volunteer is 14, except where noted. You will be contacted by your team leader in the next few weeks (timing will vary from team to team).
