TrueNorth Church is excited to partner with Cinderella’s Closet in making dresses available to guests of Night to Shine!  Thank you to everyone who has donated dresses in recent weeks, leading up to the big evening on February 10.  Your support is appreciated very much!

Cinderella’s Closet is a donations-based ministry of Wesley United Methodist Church in Evans, GA which provides dresses to those in need.  “We could not have fulfilled our dream of helping girls in need to go to their prom for the last two years without the love and support from our church Wesley UMC and dress donations from Elegant Bridal, Edge Formals, Brittany’s House of Elegance, and the many members of the church and community that have donated dresses,” says Andrea Usry.  “It has been a true blessing for all of us who have been involved with this ministry.”

Andrea adds Cinderella’s Closet is especially thrilled to be a part of Night to Shine.  “All of us have been interested in getting involved with a prom for people with special needs since the beginning of this ministry. I talked to many different people along the way and couldn’t find anyone to partner with for this project. I had really not been thinking about it for awhile, and out of the blue, Mike  Fiedler called me and asked if Cinderella’s Closet was still interested in helping with an event like this. I told him definitely yes and doesn’t God have wonderful timing!”

There is still another way to help Cinderella’s Closet for Night to Shine, and that is by volunteering at the donation events on Friday, January 27, 4PM-8PM and Saturday, January 28, 9AM-3PM.  These will be the days that guests of Night to Shine will meet with Cinderella’s Closet to receive their dresses.
